Full-length practice tests

How each test works

• Reading & Writing: 2 modules of 27 questions, 32 minutes each.
• Math: 2 modules of 22 questions, 35 minutes each — including student-produced response (grid-in) questions where you type the answer, exactly like the real test.
• Adaptive, for real: each section's Module 2 exists in two versions. Do well on Module 1 and you get the higher-difficulty set; otherwise the lower-difficulty set — a different list of questions, not the same ones shuffled. Questions follow College Board's published order: Reading & Writing by content domain, Math from easiest to hardest.
• A score range on the 400–1600 scale, read from College Board's own published conversion tables, with the module you were routed to shown and explained — plus a full answer review at the end.

Why a range and not a number: the real SAT is scored by a model that weighs which questions you answered correctly, and College Board does not publish it, so no outside site can produce an exact score. We say where the numbers come from on every result screen and on the accuracy page. Two honest limits: College Board does not publish the exact routing cut, so ours (18 of 27 in Reading & Writing, 16 of 22 in Math) comes from independent analyses of official practice tests; and our question bank has few very hard items, so our higher-difficulty module is easier than the real one. These are practice estimates, not official College Board scores.
